Bonsai Tree Wire Sculptures

About the artist Dale Bartlett: The strength in his hands is reflected in his work; Dale twists and maneuvers strands of stripped aluminum and copper wire shaping them into abstract trees and other pieces of art.  It is his way of communicating his vision of what “art” is to him.  He is enthusiastic about his medium, new to many, but a way of life for him.

Dale has worked for 30 years in the construction industry.  Not only is his medium unusual and unique, it is good for the environment too. Dale uses leftover construction materials; such as, aluminum and copper wire and recycled truck tires.  The more he experiments, the more his love grows for sculpture.

Dale currently is creating a series of Bonsai trees.  And he is “branching” out to experiment with wall sculptures.  Each piece of work is an original composition as he perceives it should be in nature.

Dale was born and raised in the Orlando area.  He has been married to Pam for 33 years and has four children and one grandchild.

Each bonsai tree is individually hand-made for you and will take 2 to 3 weeks to complete.
