Jin & Wire Pliers - Cutters

Bonsai Jin pliers are used in the Jin technique of striping bark and fiber from your bonsai to simulate the aging effect caused by weather and lightning. The angled head of bonsai pliers are specifically designed to crush bark for stripping in order to loosen it from the wood beneath and they also lend themselves as both Bonsai wire pliers and Bonsai Jin tools.

Though it is possible to use regular shop pliers for Jin and Shari, our Japanese garden tools include bonsai Jin pliers that have been specifically designed and angled for working with bonsai ensuring the best results when using a bonsai Jin carving tool.
