  • The three-pronged rake is the perfect tool for working the soil during transplanting or for general care. This rake can also be used to remove soil around your bonsai’s roots, and to stir up the soil The tweezers can be used to remove dead leaves, insects, needles, weeds, and other fine debris.     I was wanting to upgrade to some high end Japanese made, carbon steel tools. Looking around, I found that even a small kit cost in excess of $500. I stumbled on these, made some inquiries, and made the purchased based on input from one of the Bonsai Outlet employees. After spending some time using the tools this week, I'm very impressed. The tools are constructed to very high standards, and the beautiful, bamboo box is a classy touch. The quality easily matches high end Japanese tools. I don't think you can find better tools for the money.
