One-Of-A-Kind Mistletoe Fig
The Mistletoe Fig (Ficus deltoidea) is a species of fig tree that is often used for bonsai cultivation. The Mistletoe Fig is a small- to medium-sized tree native to Southeast Asia and other parts of the tropics. Its leaves are oval to triangular in shape, and the plant is known for its thick, glossy leaves which are often dark green in color. The bark is usually smooth and grayish-brown.
Mistletoe Fig bonsai requires regular watering to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. It's important to allow the soil to slightly dry out between watering sessions to prevent root rot. Humidity is essential, especially in drier climates, to mimic the tree's natural tropical habitat.
