Variegated Confederate Jasmine - AKA: Flowering Star Jasmine

We have limited quantities of these. Only a few in each color pots. Picture of Flowers updated March 06, 2024.

Often, these trees are sold as small / twig like shrubs and/or vines. Rarely do we find them with "trunks" that are workable for bonsai.

These trees were recently cut back (September 15th) for the health of the tree.

Star jasmine, also known as confederate jasmine, is a great plant for bonsai - if they have nice trunks. They are native to Asia, including places like Korea, Vietnam, China, and Japan. This plant has pearl white flowers that bloom in late spring that give off a sweet smelling fragrance.

Confederate jasmine or jasmine trachelospermum jasminoides enjoys to grow in a full sun area, in order for it to thrive. They are not the most cold hardy and grow best in the south, or move indoors when temperatures outdoors drop below 50 degrees.
