These Staked Juniper Pre-Bonsai are young Juniper tree that have been developed to become bonsai trees. They have not been shaped into a traditional Bonsai form, but the trunk has been staked for a more upright look. The stake also helps give the trunk movement. The Juniper tree is a popular species for Bonsai due to its adaptability, versatility, and ease of training.

To create a Juniper Bonsai, this is how people start - a staked Juniper tree that has a well-defined trunk and branches. Over time through techniques such as pruning, wiring, and root reduction you'll create the desired Bonsai form.

It is important to remember that Junipers are outdoor trees and require regular maintenance, including regular watering, pruning, and fertilization, in order to maintain their health and shape. Considered a very hardy conifer, the Juniper is a non-flowering tree that makes a great choice for bonsai because of it is so easy to prune and train.  Originating from China, it's one of the most popular types of bonsai trees and is a firm favorite of many bonsai enthusiasts.
