About The Potter:
Joshua Allen-Silvia, aka JAS, is a ceramicist, sculptor, and bonsai enthusiast living and working in Southern Connecticut. He has exhibited widely in venues such as MAC650 in Middletown, Jeffrey P’an Studio in Mystic, and ArtSpace in Windham.
JAS earned his BFA in sculpture and ceramics from the University of Connecticut (UConn) in 2016, there he was one of the founding members of the University’s Association of Ceramic Artists and spent time studying glassblowing under the tutelage of local glass artists.
Now, out of his home studio, JAS produces collections of ultra-modern pots for fellow bonsai enthusiasts and ceramic collectors alike.
