Note: This pot was purchased from a Private Collector. You'll notice writing on the pot (chalk) that you can erase if you'd like. Because these are vintage pots, we do NOT clean them. Sorta like a classic car. The pot is flawless, but some can be dusty. Some of these pots even have the original "Made In Japan" Stickers.  

Tokoname city has a history and tradition for pottery making that extends over 900 years. Tokoname line are hand built, hand rubbed pots renowned by bonsai enthusiasts, considered to be one of the finest pots in the world. Tokoname, Japan is the location of a co-operative of artist and the location of the 4 oldest kilns in Japan. Here is where the generations of revered potters work their craft, passing it on from generation to generation.
