Richard Robertson (Rockport)
Richard Robertson was an American potter who studied in Japan. He took an apprenticeship in Imbe studying Bizenware under Fujiwara Rakusan. He eventually settled in Rockport, Maine with his wife Lynette, where they raised their three sons.
His connection to things Japanese influenced all his work and enabled him to connect solidly to bonsai pottery. Richard lived with his wife Lynette in Rockport Maine, in a house they built themselves where they produced beautiful ceramics and raised their children.
