This ceramic stone is made by mixing superfine abrasive compound of aluminium oxide and clayey binder. Then fired at high temperature. This stone is for professional use. 

1200 grit Splex Japanese Wet Stone. Create the bevel or start sharpening with this coarser stone, then proceed progressively to finer grits.
