14.5" Vintage Yixing Pot - Green Crackled Glaze (YX966)

Vintage Yixing Pot. This pot has been out of circulation for 15+ years. It's the only one available and we are unable to purchase more. Older Yixing Pots are not as flawless as they are now, but this is a great looking larger pot with a crackled green glaze. The pot is NEW and we did not notice any flaws to the glaze and the pot does not wobble. Great pot for the price.

From the “YiXing” area of China's Jiangsu Province, widely considered the pottery capital of the China, these pots are simple, elegant, and shaped by hand. In fact, you'll find the craftsman's mark on the bottom of every pot. And each pot is made from the purple clay found near the Yangtze River, the best material there is for bonsai pots.
