Imported Cascade Tiger Bark Ficus Bonsai – Fast-Growing, Beginner-Friendly
This is the kind of bonsai that gets attention from across the room. The imported cascade style gives you instant movement and drama, while Tiger Bark Ficus keeps it approachable- vigorous, forgiving, and fast-growing so you can refine the shape quickly.
Think of it as a living project: enjoy it today, then keep leveling it up over time. Build → prune → refine → repeat.
What You’re Getting
- Species: Tiger Bark Ficus (Ficus microcarpa)
- Style: Imported Cascade (this exact tree)
- Approx. Size: 13” tall (table to apex) and 18” wide

Why Tiger Bark Ficus Works So Well in Cascade
- Fast growth helps you build density and refine the cascade line
- Forgiving—a great choice if you’re newer to tropical bonsai
- Indoor-friendly with bright light or a grow light
- Responds well to pruning and wiring when actively growing
Quick Care (Simple + Effective)
- Light: Bright light is key. Sunny window, sunroom, or grow light works great.

- Temperature: Tropical—protect from cold drafts and low temps.
- Pruning: Let it push growth, then prune back to maintain the cascade silhouette and build density.
- Feeding: Fertilize during active growth to keep it vigorous.
