Flowering Satsuki Azalea Bonsai with Incredible Trunk Character

This is the kind of tree that stops people in their tracks. The trunk is thick, aged, and full of character, with beautiful movement and exposed surface roots that give the whole tree a powerful, grounded feel. The canopy is broad and well-developed, and when this tree flowers, it completely transforms. The photo in bloom was taken last May, and it shows exactly why trees like this are so hard to forget. The flowers are an intense deep pink to red tone that absolutely lights the tree up.
Even out of bloom, there is a lot to admire here. The branch structure is mature, the silhouette is strong, and the trunk has the kind of bark, swelling, and flare that collectors are always chasing. It also sits in a handmade 14 inch Dale Cochoy pot that pairs beautifully with the tree and adds to its overall presence.
This bonsai just arrived at the nursery and has the kind of character that usually takes a very long time to find. It is a substantial flowering bonsai that already has impact now, with even more excitement ahead once it comes back into bloom.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit.
