This one-of-a-kind Imported Japanese White Pine is a recovery tree with potential.
Imported in 2023, this tree went through the bare root import process and, like others in this group, experienced stress during recovery. It is now healthy, but we want to be straightforward: this tree is going to take time to improve. It is not a refined bonsai, and it is not a quick project. That said, it is an authentic imported Japanese White Pine with mature trunk character, visible movement, and a structure that can absolutely become more interesting with patient work.
The lower trunk has age and bark texture, and the tree has a nice line from the base up through the apex. The branching is there to build from, but this is really a tree for someone who understands development and is willing to put in the time. If that sounds like you, this is a chance to buy imported Japanese White Pine material at a more approachable price.
This tree is priced right for what it is. It is not perfect, but it is honest material with a future.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.
Important Guidelines:
** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit.
