Imported KOUGETSU Satsuki Azalea Bonsai with Rare Exposed Roots
This imported KOUGETSU Satsuki Azalea was imported from Japan in 2024 and has the kind of exposed root character you just do not see very often anymore. The dramatic root base gives this tree immediate presence, age, and movement, while the trunk rises with an elegant, twisting feel that makes it especially memorable from every angle.
This tree is also just about to burst into flower, which makes it an exciting one right now. Satsuki Azaleas are loved for their spectacular blooms, but even before the flowers open, the tight buds and refined branching create a lot of anticipation. Once in bloom, this tree should become even more eye-catching.
It is planted in an 8.5" glazed Yixing ceramic pot and measures approximately 29" tall from table to apex with a 19" spread. Because of its height, this tree is being offered as Local Pickup Only.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit.
