This handmade oval bonsai pot was made in Tokoname, Japan by Yamafusa (Takehiko Koie). I purchased this pot directly through another artist and guide while in Japan.

The soft cream exterior gives it a quiet, almost stone-like presence, while the warm pink interior adds subtle warmth and character when viewed from above. It is restrained in the best way. Nothing flashy, just a very tasteful pot that feels thoughtful and mature.

Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
