Handmade Bonsai Pot by Reiho (Katsushi Kataoka)
This refined rectangular bonsai pot was made at Seizan Kiln in Tokoname by Reiho (Katsushi Kataoka), 4th generation. I visited the kiln in November 2025 and had the honor of hand-selecting pots directly from what was available on site, not from a catalog.
Condition note: This pot was gently used. Any light interior staining or subtle signs of prior use are visible in the photos and do not affect function.
Why this pot works
- Classic rectangle with a soft flare that frames deciduous trees beautifully
- Light gray speckled finish that complements bark texture and seasonal color
- Sturdy, low profile feet for stability and clean lift
- Multiple drainage and tie-down holes for practical, secure planting
Dimensions
- Outside: 13.75 in x 10.25 in x 3.25 in tall
- Inside: 11.5 in x 8 in x 2.25 in
