A product image of Tinyroots Japanese Choji Oil, a rust prevention solution specifically designed for the maintenance of bonsai tools. The image features the product's packaging: a rectangular cardboard box and a clear 1 fluid ounce (30ml) glass bottle equipped with a black rubber-topped glass dropper.

The packaging design is split horizontally into two sections. The top half is white, decorated with an elegant pattern of red and white cherry blossoms (sakura) and subtle grey geometric shapes. The brand name "Tinyroots" is printed vertically in black, alongside a small red square containing the Japanese kanji for oil (油).

The bottom half of both the box and the bottle label is solid black with bold white lettering. The text on the front of the box reads "CHOJI OIL," "RUST PREVENTION SOLUTION," and "1 FL.OZ (30ML)." The side of the box lists key product benefits such as "EASY TO USE DISPENSER," "PROTECTS & PRESERVES TOOLS," and "PREVENTS OXIDATION & RUST." It also notes that this is part of a "3-PIECE KIT" including Choji oil, a rust eraser, and a lint-free cloth. Small icons indicate the product is "READY TO USE!" and comes with a "100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED" seal. The glass bottle's label mirrors this design, with a large, faint grey kanji character for oil in the background of the black section.

Tinyroots Carbon Steel Root / Knob Cutters. Advanced Tool

The knob cutter is very similar to the concave cutter but has several unique capabilities.

The cutting blades of the knob cutter are shaped somewhat like two halves of a sphere coming together. The shape allows the tool to aggressively bite into wood.

Protruding stubs are easily and quickly nibbled away by the knob cutter in a controlled fashion. It can remove lots of wood quickly yet is precise enough to shape the final surface cut on the trunk or branch.

An additional use of the knob cutter is the removal of undesirable root or trunk material in the area of a partially removed tap root. The aggressive nibbling ability readily removes excess callous underneath the trunk where lack of space makes it difficult to use other tools.

No other tool is as effective and clean in performing this task which is often necessary to properly fitting the bonsai into the pot.

Shipping Non-Tree Items

All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

Important Guidelines:
