This collected American Larch is a clean, upright piece of raw bonsai material with beautiful fresh spring growth and a natural structure that gives the next owner plenty to work with. The tree is just waking up for the season and pushing bright, soft green needles along the branches, which is one of the best parts of working with larch in spring.
What I like about this one is the taller, more elegant movement. It has a slender trunk with a natural rise, good branch placement to begin future refinement, and enough open space to let you study the structure instead of guessing through heavy foliage. This is not a finished bonsai, and that is exactly the point. It is a collected pre-bonsai with character, age, and direction already built in.
American Larch are cold-hardy deciduous conifers. They offer incredible seasonal interest—fresh green needles in spring, a soft mature canopy through summer, golden fall color, and a bare winter silhouette that makes structural work easier to plan. For someone looking to develop a native collected tree, this is a very approachable and rewarding piece of material.
As with all collected trees, this tree was collected several years ago and has been established in its container. It is ready for the next owner to continue developing it into a more refined bonsai.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.
Important Guidelines:
** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
