Collected Larch Bonsai with Rugged Bark and Natural Twin-Trunk Movement

This is the exact tree shown in the photos.

This collected larch has a great natural feel. The trunk is really what makes the tree. It has rough, mature-looking bark, a moss-covered base, and two main trunk lines that give it a wide, open shape.

The foliage was full and bright green when photographed. There is plenty of branching to work with if you want to refine the tree over time, but it is already established and can be enjoyed just as it is.

It is planted in a 7" unglazed ceramic bonsai pot. The simple, earthy pot works well with the rugged bark and natural character of the tree.

This is a great collected larch for someone who wants an established tree with character and room to continue developing it.

Larch changes throughout the year. The needles will turn color and drop in the fall, and the tree will be bare during winter dormancy. Fresh needles will return in spring.

Care Note

Larch bonsai must be grown outdoors. Give the tree plenty of sunlight, good airflow, and thorough watering whenever the soil begins approaching dryness. Do not allow the root system to dry out completely.

Larch requires a cold winter dormancy. Protect the pot and root system during severe winter weather, especially from drying winds and repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
