This tree already shows the cork bark texture that makes Frank Yee Cork Bark Jades so desirable. The trunk and branches have visible corking, with rough tan-brown bark, dark crevices, and aged surface detail that gives the tree immediate character.

About This Tree

This Cork Bark Jade has a compact multi-trunk style form with several upright sections rising from a textured shared base. The corked bark and dark crevices give the trunk structure a rugged appearance that stands out from standard Dwarf Jade material.

The canopy is full and active, with small rounded leaves and multiple branch directions for future shaping. This tree can continue growing in its current pot or be transitioned into a bonsai container when ready for a more refined presentation.

Care Notes

Frank Yee Cork Bark Jade requires the same general care as Dwarf Mini Jade. It is a tropical succulent bonsai and is not cold hardy. In colder climates, grow it indoors in bright light and protect it from cold drafts. It may be placed outdoors during warm weather once nighttime temperatures are consistently safe for tropical plants.

Water thoroughly when the soil has dried down, then allow the soil to dry again before watering. Cork Bark Jade prefers bright light, warm conditions, and a well-draining soil mix. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.
