About This Tree

This Cork Bark Jade has a twin-trunk style structure with visible corking across the lower trunk, branch junctions, and interior branches. The shared base gives the tree a sturdy presence, while the two main sections create natural movement and styling interest.

The canopy is compact and active, with small rounded leaves and several branch directions for future shaping. This tree can continue growing in its current pot or be transitioned into a bonsai container when ready for a more refined presentation.

Care Notes

Frank Yee Cork Bark Jade requires the same general care as Dwarf Mini Jade. It is a tropical succulent bonsai and is not cold hardy. In colder climates, grow it indoors in bright light and protect it from cold drafts. It may be placed outdoors during warm weather once nighttime temperatures are consistently safe for tropical plants.

Water thoroughly when the soil has dried down, then allow the soil to dry again before watering. Cork Bark Jade prefers bright light, warm conditions, and a well-draining soil mix. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.
