A Mistletoe Ficus with Great Branching and Loads of Character
I snagged this Mistletoe Ficus from the nursery because it deserves to become a really cool bonsai. It has a strong trunk, plenty of established branches and a full canopy that gives you a lot to work with during the first styling.
It is also covered in the small green figs that make Mistletoe Ficus so much fun to grow. Some of the older foliage is yellowing, but there is healthy green growth throughout the tree.
If this one does not sell quickly, there is a good chance Pete or John will grab it and start styling it. Once that happens, it will become a different tree at a different price. Right now, you can take it in its pre-bonsai stage and decide where it goes next.

Tropical Bonsai Care
Mistletoe Ficus is a tropical tree that should be protected from cold temperatures. Give it plenty of bright light, allow the soil to approach dryness between thorough waterings and bring it indoors before temperatures become too cool.
Shipping Confidence
This tree ships from our Massachusetts nursery and will be carefully packed to protect its trunk, branches, roots, soil and grow pot during transit.
Please expect some leaf and fruit drop during shipping. Ficus may shed foliage and fruit after being boxed, transported and moved into a different environment. This is a normal response to change and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the tree.
Please Note
All trees are sold as-is. All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges. Once the tree leaves our nursery, its care is your responsibility. Have questions? Just reach out. We’re happy to help.
We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.
Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.
Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
