Imported Tiger Bark Ficus Bonsai with Powerful S-Curve, Aerial Roots, and Blue Yixing Drum Pot
This is the exact Imported Tiger Bark Ficus bonsai tree you will receive.
This imported Tiger Bark Ficus has excellent tropical bonsai character, starting with a strong S-curve trunk that immediately gives the tree movement and age. The trunk line rises with confidence from a heavy base, then curves upward into a full canopy with branching that extends naturally to both sides.
The lower trunk is the best feature of this tree. It has great nebari, visible aerial root development, and a wide, gripping root base that makes the composition feel established and powerful. The bark has the speckled texture Tiger Bark Ficus is known for, adding even more interest up close.
The bright blue glazed Yixing drum-style pot gives this tree a bold display presence and pairs well with the fresh green foliage. This is a strong choice for someone who wants a tropical bonsai with real trunk movement, root character, and a finished look right away.
Why This Tree Stands Out
- Powerful S-Curve Trunk: Strong trunk movement gives the tree a mature, dynamic bonsai form.
- Great Nebari: The exposed root base anchors the tree and adds visual age.

- Tiger Bark Texture: Speckled bark detail adds interest along the trunk and primary branches.

Care Notes
Tiger Bark Ficus is a tropical bonsai and should be protected from cold temperatures. Grow it indoors in bright light or outdoors during warm weather, then bring it inside before temperatures drop below approximately 50°F.
Water when the soil begins to dry, and keep the tree in a bright location to support healthy growth. Regular pruning will help maintain the canopy, improve ramification, and continue refining the silhouette.

Please Note
This is a living tree. Small changes in leaf growth, color, or minor surface details may occur after photography. All trees are sold as-is. All sales are final - no refunds, returns, or exchanges. We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.
Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.
Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
