Imported Tiger Bark Ficus Bonsai with Graceful Movement and Open Twin-Canopy Form
This is the exact Imported Tiger Bark Ficus bonsai tree you will receive.
This imported Tiger Bark Ficus has a clean, artistic shape with graceful trunk movement and an open twin-canopy form. The trunk rises from a compact root base, bends with a soft S-curve, and opens into two balanced foliage areas that give the tree a light, refined presence.
This is a great tree for someone who appreciates space and movement in a bonsai. The branches are not crowded, which lets you see the trunk line, the root character, and the structure of the tree. It feels airy and intentional, with enough foliage to display now and enough open structure for future refinement.
The cream glazed Yixing ceramic pot keeps the presentation clean and understated, allowing the pale Tiger Bark texture and bright green foliage to stand out. This tree would fit especially well in a collection where you want a smaller tropical bonsai with elegance, balance, and a more refined silhouette.

Care Notes
Tiger Bark Ficus is a tropical bonsai and should be protected from cold temperatures. Grow it indoors in bright light or outdoors during warm weather, then bring it inside before temperatures drop below approximately 50°F.
Water when the soil begins to dry, and keep the tree in strong light to support healthy growth. Regular pruning will help tighten the foliage pads, improve ramification, and continue refining the tree’s open branch structure.

We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.
Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.
Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
