A Thick-Trunk Pink Pixie That Is Ready to Become Something Special
This is a really nice Pink Pixie Bougainvillea pre-bonsai. The thick trunk already has gentle movement, the primary branches are established and the canopy is full of beautiful green and gold variegated foliage.
Pink Pixie is one of my favorite bougainvilleas for bonsai. The naturally compact growth and smaller leaves make it much easier to create a convincing tree at this size. With the right light and care, it can also produce the bright pink bracts that make this variety so much fun to own.
This tree is still in a grow pot, which gives its next owner the freedom to make the important decisions. Choose the front, select the branches, reduce the canopy and begin building the final design yourself or bring it to a professional for its first styling.

Bougainvillea loves warmth and strong light. Protect this tree from freezing temperatures and bring it indoors before cold weather arrives. A sunny window or suitable grow-light setup will help it through the winter in colder climates.

This tree ships from our Massachusetts nursery and will be carefully packed to protect its trunk, branches, roots, soil and grow pot during transit.
Please expect some leaf and flower drop during shipping. Bougainvillea can shed foliage, buds and colorful bracts when boxed and moved into a different environment. This is a normal stress response and does not necessarily indicate a problem with the tree. Give it warmth, strong light and time to settle into its new home.
