3-Piece Black Aluminum Bonsai Wire Kit

The kit includes three useful sizes of black aluminum bonsai wire, giving you a practical range for light branch work, medium shaping, and slightly heavier bends. It is a great choice for beginners, workshop students, gift kits, or anyone who wants a few common wire sizes without buying full-size rolls of every gauge.
Each roll is 100g, which gives you enough wire to practice, train branches, and work on several small to medium bonsai projects.
The black color is clean and traditional. Some people prefer black wire, some prefer brown wire. Either is fine for bonsai as long as the wire is made for tree training. What we do not recommend is using random brightly colored craft wire. A bonsai is a living plant, and wire stays wrapped around the branch while the tree is growing. Use proper bonsai wire.

How to Use Bonsai Wire
- Choose a wire size that is strong enough to hold the branch.
- Cut a piece of wire long enough for the branch you are shaping.
- Anchor the wire securely before bending.
- Wrap at roughly a 45-degree angle, keeping the spacing even.
- Bend slowly while supporting the branch with your fingers.
- Check the wire regularly and remove it before it cuts into the bark.
Wire should guide the branch, not crush it. If the wire starts biting into the bark, remove it.
3-Piece or 7-Piece Kit?
- Choose the 3-piece kit if you want a simple starter set with three common sizes.
- Choose the 7-piece kit if you want more flexibility and a wider range of gauges for different branch sizes.
