Beautiful Handmade Rocks

Over the years, we have hosted many Rock Planting Workshops with Bonsai Instructors such as John Romano, Jun Imabayashi, Suthin, and others. We have never offered these rocks for sale online - they're usually large and heavy. I was able to locate two that are shippable. 

Rock Plantings are a great way to learn perspective and scale. Rock Plantings are more associated with the art of Penjing than Bonsai as they tend to be more about accentuating the natural feel of the stone and trees and not so much about the individuality of the trees themselves. Many of us have seen these great rock plantings of Master Masahiko Kimura in Japan. They are famous and he created many of them.

These are Handmade Rocks to resemble what you would see available in Japan. The Rock you see is the Rock we will ship. 

STATS -

1. Rock #1: 19 1/2" tall, measured from the table to the top of tree. The width is 9" and it's 8" deep.

The Tree(s) you see are the tree(s) you'll receive. This is a heavy. We estimated Shipping at $45. If shipping to the west coast, it will likely cost more and we will call you for the additional shipping charges, if applicable.  

Important Shipping Guidelines: 

• We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
• All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
• Most Shipments of Trees are released on Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid being held in-transit over weekends.
• If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
