One-Of-A-Kind American Elm
I can't guarantee this tree won't get pruned. I noticed it, and I snatched it to post online. It's a little wild at the moment, but it's the only American elm we currently have at the nursery. Grab it, if you can.
The American Elm, or Ulmus americana, is a deciduous tree that is native to North America and is also commonly used as a bonsai tree. It is a large and fast-growing tree that can reach up to 100 feet tall in the wild.
The American Elm bonsai has distinctive serrated leaves that turn a vibrant yellow color in the fall before falling off for winter. The tree produces small, greenish-yellow flowers in the spring before the leaves emerge. Its bark is gray and deeply furrowed.
