One-Of-A-Kind Collected Rocky Mountain Juniper
The Rocky Mountain Juniper, also known as Juniperus scopulorum, is an evergreen coniferous tree that is native to the western United States, particularly in the Rocky Mountains. It is a medium-sized tree that can grow up to 10-30 meters (33-98 feet) tall.
This is a pretty unique tree. It has a great thick trunk and character, but it's going to need some ones styling. There's a great foundation, and if there are no takers, we will style the tree and get it potted into something nice in Spring 2024.
The bark of the Rocky Mountain Juniper is reddish-brown and peels off in thin strips. The leaves are needle-like and arranged in opposite pairs or whorls of three, and they have a blue-green color. The tree produces small, fleshy cones that are initially green but turn a bluish-purple color as they mature.
Rocky Mountain Juniper trees are well adapted to harsh and dry conditions, and they are often found in rocky, mountainous regions, including high-altitude areas. This little guy has been wired and initialy styled, but there's a lot of opportunity for more Jin / Shari. This is a great find and the price seems right, based on availability.

- Most Shipments of Trees are released on Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid being held in-transit over weekends.
- If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
