One-Of-A-Kind Japanese Zelcova
The Japanese Zelkova, also known as Zelkova serrata, is a deciduous tree commonly used for bonsai cultivation. It is native to Japan, China, and Taiwan and is a member of the Ulmaceae family. The Japanese Zelkova has an attractive, serrated leaf shape, with a glossy green color that turns to yellow or red in the fall. Its bark is smooth and grey, with unique patterns that add interest to its overall appearance.
The Japanese Zelkova Bonsai is a medium-sized tree that can grow up to 100 feet in height in its natural environment. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil that is kept moist but not waterlogged.
