This is a One-Of-A-Kind Frank Yee Cork Bark Dwarf Jade

This is a Cork Bark Jade, directly from Frank Yee. In 2021, we flew out to visit Frank Yee at his house in California. We had been talking for a while and the goal was to purchase most of his Specimen Trees.

Unfortunately, there was a change our heart once we arrived in CA, but we were able to acquire almost 100 Cork Barks from Frank. This is one of those trees.

With an estimated age of around 15 years, this tree boasts a distinctive feature that sets it apart—its remarkable corking. The entire trunk and branches are adorned with this unique texture, creating a truly awe-inspiring sight. Feel free to peruse the accompanying pictures to witness its splendor. From a care perspective, this tree requires the same attention as a Dwarf Mini Jade.

In terms of beauty and ease of maintenance, this Jade Bonsai surpasses all expectations. It possesses all the desirable qualities of a remarkable bonsai specimen, including rough bark, well-developed branch structures, finely-shaped leaves, adaptability to shallow pots, resilience to drought, and effortless upkeep. As the tree ages, the bark will continue to develop, particularly under intense light and lean watering conditions.
