Dwarf Korean Lilac Bonsai
The Korean lilac (Syringe Palabiniana) makes for a fragrant and beautiful bonsai. It has abundant blooms in the spring with beautiful lavender-pink flowers. They bloom profusely in midseason, typically around Mid May, unless they're in a greenhouse like ours.
Although you are looking at pictures of these Lilacs in full bloom, they will NOT be in bloom when you receive them. Also, we will not be shipping these until the week of May 17th. We will be removing the spent flower heads to ensure vigorous bloom next year.
The lilac is a deciduous tree so expect the leaves to fall. They enjoy full sun or part shade and are also "slow growers". We do not have many left as most sold last year while they were in bloom.
The Dwarf Korean Lica is an attractive and easy to care for Deciduous Tree. All of the trees listed were repotted early 2021. They are extremely healthy and will bloom for you again, next year.

How to Care:
- Watering: Apply water when the soil appears dry and never let the soil become completely dried out.
- Fertilizing: A bonsai liquid fertilizer will work just fine. Due to the tree living in reduced soil, it is important to replenish the soil's nutrients from time to time.
- Repotting: Deciduous trees will need to be repotted every two to three years. However this depends on how fast your lilac grows and when the root system has filled the pot.

- All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
- Most Shipments of Trees are released on Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid being held in-transit over weekends.
- If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
