One-Of-A-Kind Seiju Elm
This tree arrived at NEBG a few weeks ago. It came from a private collector and it needed a serious haircut. You can see in the pictures that the foliage is coming back nicely.
The Seiju Elm Bonsai, scientifically known as Ulmus parvifolia 'Seiju,' is a captivating and popular bonsai variety that combines a dwarfed, compact size with the characteristic features of Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia). Note: This tree is growing as a deciduous - it's cold hardy.
