From the “YiXing” area of China's Jiangsu Province , widely considered the pottery capital of the China, these pots are simple, elegant, and shaped by hand. In fact, you'll find the craftsman's mark on the bottom of every pot. Each pot is made from the purple clay found near the Yangtze River, the best material there is for bonsai pots. Note: This is a vintage pot recently acquired. The legs were sanded by the previous owner to remove subtle wobble. The pot does not wobble. The glaze on this pot is phenomenal.
