One-Of-A-King Pink Flowering Bougainvillea
The Bougainvillea is a highly sought-after evergreen tropical vine that produces a dynamic spectrum of blooms ranging from pinks, oranges, whites and purples. This Bougainvillea is Pink. It's NOT a stick in a pot. This Bougainvillea was hand selected for it's branching and movement, potted and root established. It is ready to ship.
The Bougainvillea is native to South America and named after French Navy admiral and explorer Louis Antoine de Bougainville, who both circumnavigated the globe on scientific expedition and fought against Britain during the American Revolution.
The colorful, papery "blooms" of the Bougainvillea are not actually flowers, but rather “bracts”. The true flower is white, trumpet shaped and almost unnoticeable within the bracts. Bougainvillea flower most heavily in winter and early spring.
Being a sub-tropical tree, the Bougainvillea likes high temperatures, humidity and lots of sunlight. It can be kept indoors as long as it gets plenty of bright sun and outdoors as long as it’s protected from freezing temperatures. Bougainvillea are also very tolerant to dryer conditions, so over-watering is probably more of a concern than under-watering.

- Most Shipments of Trees are released on Mondays and Tuesdays only to avoid being held in-transit over weekends.
- If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
