This is not a mass-produced slab. Each piece is individually hand-built from start to finish, so no two are ever the same. Designed for naturalistic bonsai and kusamono, this slab adds real presence and character to the entire composition.

Why This Slab Is Special

Each slab begins with a hand-shaped stainless-steel wire armature for strength and long-term stability. Preston then builds the form entirely by hand using a custom ceramic blend he developed himself. No molds. No casting. No shortcuts. Every ridge, edge, and contour is sculpted individually.

After shaping, the slab cures slowly for over two months to harden and stabilize. It is then hand-textured and stained for a weathered, stone-like finish, followed by an additional 30-day cure.
