Hippie Dad, is an American potter. [from facebook] - I personally welcome you to "Hippie Dad Bonsai".... I was introduced to the world of bonsai (pronounced bone-sigh) around 5 years ago. I have had no formal training and humbly consider myself a lifetime student... I have learned a lot, but there is so much more to learn and understand. Bonsai is not "one type of tree", it is a styling technique. the word bonsai actually means small tree in small pot. With that said, there are hundreds of types of bonsai trees.
I personally derive immense catharsis and spiritual fulfillment in working with my trees and I am grateful for that. I hope this site with the pictures and videos, you can experience a bit of what I take in. My vision for this sight is for all to enjoy in not only viewing, but asking questions and providing constructive feedback (remember, I'm learning too!)
Note: We do not clean Vintage Bonsai Pots. You can clean it or use as it. Potter name is believed to be accurate, based on what was provided to us and/or preliminary stamp research.
