Coral Blooms, Wild Movement, and a Tree with a Story
This is the exact tree shown in the photos.
This imported Satsuki Azalea bonsai is full of personality, color, and history. Covered in rich coral-pink flowers with deeper red markings, this tree immediately stands out from more traditional flowering bonsai. The blooms are bold, cheerful, and impossible to miss.
The trunk is what gives this tree its character. It has a dramatic, twisting structure with exposed roots, mature bark, and a strong, sculptural presence. The flowering canopy sweeps outward to one side, creating a beautiful sense of movement and giving the tree a lively, almost cascading feel.
We recently purchased this tree from a customer, but it originally came from New England Bonsai Gardens many years ago. It has made its way back to us, was lightly styled after acquisition, and is now ready for its next home.
It is planted in a Yixing ceramic bonsai pot, which gives the tree a finished, classic presentation while still allowing plenty of room for continued refinement.

Flowering Note
This Satsuki Azalea is currently blooming. Flowers will drop during transport, which is normal for azaleas in flower. The tree has a strong flowering habit, and with proper care, it should continue to bloom in future seasons.

Shipping Note
This tree ships from our nursery. Because it is currently in bloom, some flowers may open, fade, or drop before or during shipping.
Care Note
Satsuki Azalea are outdoor bonsai. They prefer bright outdoor conditions, even moisture, and acidic soil. Protect from extreme heat, drying winds, and hard freezes. Avoid allowing the soil to fully dry out, especially during flowering and active growth.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
