Believed Seizan / Reihou Japanese Bonsai Pot
This is a beautiful Japanese bonsai pot, believed to be a Seizan / Reihou pot, with a soft oval shape, understated gray glaze, and excellent proportions for a more mature bonsai.
The pot features a light gray speckled glaze with subtle warmth and natural variation throughout the surface. The finish is quiet and refined, with small iron-like speckling that gives the pot texture without making it visually busy. The oval form, rolled lip, low feet, and clean body line make this a very usable container for a wide range of bonsai styles.
This is the kind of pot that works especially well when the tree should remain the focus. The neutral gray tone would pair nicely with older bark, fine branching, flowering trees, broadleaf evergreens, deciduous bonsai, or a refined tropical where a softer glazed container is appropriate.
The pot has a practical planting depth and good drainage, making it a strong option for a developed bonsai that deserves a better Japanese ceramic container without an overly flashy glaze.
