This collected American Larch is a beautiful piece of raw bonsai material with fresh spring growth, natural movement, and plenty of future potential. The tree is pushing bright green new needles now, which gives it that incredible early-season larch color that always catches your eye in the greenhouse.
What makes this tree appealing is its natural structure. It has a lean and movement through the trunk, an open branch pattern, and enough age in the bark to feel like collected material—not just a young nursery tree. It is still a pre-bonsai, but that is also what makes it exciting. The next owner gets to decide where it goes from here.
This tree could be refined into a natural upright or informal upright design, or it could be grown on further before styling. American Larch are deciduous conifers, so they give you the best of both worlds: soft green needles in spring and summer, golden color in fall, and a bare winter silhouette that lets you study and refine the branch structure.
As with all collected trees, this tree was collected several years ago and has been established in its container. It is now ready for the next stage of development.

Because this is an established collected pre-bonsai, shipping is calculated to help ensure the tree is packed securely and arrives safely.

Shipping Bonsai Trees:
Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

** We cannot ship to a FPO, APO, P.O. Box or to locations in Alaska, Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Hawaii or anywhere internationally.
** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit. That said, we reserve the right to hold the tree(s) to guarantee a healthy delivery. We will Hold Your Tree Until It is Safe to Ship.
