This Dwarf Boxwood bonsai is a compact, tidy evergreen with a full canopy, small glossy leaves, and a classic bonsai presence. Boxwoods are always popular because they are durable, attractive, and easy to appreciate at a glance — especially when they have this kind of dense foliage and established structure.
The tree has a nice trunk line with gentle movement, branching that fills the canopy well, and a balanced shape that feels finished without being overdone. The foliage is full and bright, giving the tree a lush, healthy appearance with plenty of room for continued refinement.
It is planted in a soft blue glazed Japanese pot, which gives the tree a clean, polished look. The light glaze contrasts beautifully with the rich green foliage and helps make this little boxwood feel like a complete bonsai display right away.
We do not have many of these Dwarf Boxwoods left. Most sold during the previous weekly sales, so this is one of the remaining pieces from a very popular batch.

Dwarf Boxwood is an evergreen bonsai, so it keeps foliage year-round. Growth will be strongest during the active growing season, and light pruning can help maintain the compact shape. Some older interior leaves may naturally yellow or shed over time as new growth develops.

Dwarf Boxwood is an outdoor bonsai. It prefers bright outdoor conditions, even moisture, and protection from extreme heat, drying winds, and severe freezes. Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid keeping it constantly saturated.

Bonsai trees are generally shipped on Mondays & Tuesdays to avoid having them stay in the boxes for any extra time over the weekends.
Shipping Non-Tree Items
All non-bonsai items such as bonsai pots and bonsai supplies are shipped within 48 hours of receiving payment. Most orders are shipped either the same day or the next day, depending on the time of day the order is received.

** All Bonsai are shipped direct from the nursery and may ship separately from other items purchased via the Bonsai Outlet.
** If extreme weather is expected, we may delay shipping your Bonsai tree to guarantee a healthy arrival; in such a case we will contact you. We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit.
