Upright Dwarf Jade Bonsai with a Long Low Branch in a Cobalt Yixing Pot

That long low branch is what makes this tree.

This Dwarf Jade rises from a gnarled, swollen base into an upright trunk with tiers of foliage on both sides. Down low, one branch reaches far out past the rim of the pot, which gives the whole tree a sense of width and age.

The bright green leaves look great against its 9" cobalt blue glazed Yixing pot, a classic rectangle with clean lines.

This is the exact Dwarf Jade bonsai you will receive.

Why This Tree Stands Out

  • Branching: A long low branch that sweeps out past the edge of the pot.
  • Base: A gnarled, swollen trunk base with roots spreading into the soil.
  • Canopy: Tiered pads on both sides building up to a rounded apex.
  • Pot: Planted in a 9" cobalt blue glazed Yixing ceramic bonsai pot.

About This Tree

Dwarf Jade is our number-one-selling bonsai species, and it is easy to see why. It is forgiving, grows quickly in warm conditions, and responds extremely well to pruning.

A strong low branch is one of the first things bonsai growers look for, and this one is already long and well placed. Keep it as the tree's signature, and refine the upper tiers to balance it.

Care Notes

Give your Dwarf Jade as much bright light as you can, ideally a sunny window indoors or full sun outside in warm weather. Water thoroughly, then let the soil dry out a bit before watering again. It stores water in its leaves, so it handles a missed watering far better than constant wet soil. Bring it indoors before nights drop below 50°F.

Please Note

All trees are sold as-is. All sales are final - no refunds, returns, or exchanges. Once the tree leaves our nursery, care is your responsibility. Have questions? Just reach out - we're happy to help.

We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.

Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.

Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
