Characteristics:

Foliage: The dark green, scale-like leaves are arranged in flat sprays, giving the plant a soft texture. A yellowish variant, 'nana lutea', is a dwarf golden form of the species.
Growth Habit: The Dwarf Hinoki Cypress has a compact, rounded form. Its aesthetic appeal and manageable size make it popular in small gardens, rock gardens, and as a specimen plant.
Care and Maintenance:
This plant is low-maintenance, thriving in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Regular watering is essential, especially during dry periods, but avoid waterlogged conditions. Pruning is minimal, mainly to maintain its shape and remove dead or damaged branches.
