A detailed studio product shot of a 10 oz (280 g) white resealable stand-up pouch of Hanasaku Hiryo Flowering Fertilizer by Ho Yoku Products.

The top of the bag features a distinctive orange circular logo with a stylized bird's head. Below it, the word "Flowering" is written in a large, elegant pink and white gradient cursive script, positioned above the word "FERTILIZER" in bold, black block letters.

The lower third of the package is decorated with a vibrant purple and pink watercolor illustration of large blossoms, resembling proteas. Overlaid on this floral background are several key product features in white text: "100% Organic Fertilizer," "Dramatically increases blooms," "Slow Release over 4-6 weeks," and an "NPK of 1.5-9-4.5."

To the right of the bullet points are two circular icons: a checkmark with the text "READY TO USE" and a "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" seal. The bag sits against a clean, solid white background with a soft shadow underneath, emphasizing its professional packaging designed for flowering plants and bonsai maintenance.

Soft Pink Blooms, Graceful Movement, and Imported Satsuki Character

This is the exact tree shown in the photos.

This soft pink blooming Satsuki Azalea bonsai has the kind of graceful, sweeping shape that immediately catches your eye. The trunk rises with quiet age and movement before the canopy reaches outward in a wide, elegant form covered in soft pink spring flowers and fresh buds.

Imported in 2024, this tree is making its first appearance online after being held at our nursery for multiple seasons. We do this with imported trees so we can make sure they are healthy, settled, and ready before offering them online.

The shape is what makes this one special. It has a sculptural trunk, natural movement, and a long flowering branch that gives the tree a beautiful sense of motion. Even in a grow pot, it already has presence. With future refinement and the right ceramic bonsai pot, this could become a very elegant flowering bonsai.

It is currently planted in a Tokoname Grow Pot #7, giving the next owner flexibility. Enjoy the flowers now, continue developing the structure, and when the time is right, move it into a formal bonsai pot worthy of the tree.

Flowering Note

This Satsuki Azalea is currently blooming and has many buds. Flowers will drop during transport, which is normal for azaleas in flower. Because there are still many buds on the tree, you should see flowers this year. With proper care, this tree should continue flowering next year and every year after.

Photography Note

This tree was photographed on May 2, 2026. The photos show the actual tree for sale at the time of photography.

Shipping Note

This tree ships from our nursery. Because it is currently in bloom, some flowers may open, fade, or drop before or during shipping.

Care Note

Satsuki Azalea are outdoor bonsai. They prefer bright outdoor conditions, even moisture, and acidic soil. Protect from extreme heat, drying winds, and hard freezes. Avoid allowing the soil to fully dry out, especially during flowering and active growth.

Please Note

  • All trees are sold as-is
  • All sales are final – no refunds, returns, or exchanges
  • Once the tree leaves our nursery, care is your responsibility
  • Have questions? Just reach out—we’re always happy to help.

We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.

Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.

Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
