A professional-looking, resealable stand-up pouch of Bonsai Thrive 180, a time-release fertilizer specifically formulated for the specialized needs of bonsai trees.

The packaging design is split vertically. The left side has a clean, textured white background featuring the product name "BONSAI THRIVE 180" in bold, black lettering beneath an orange circular logo of a stylized crane. Below the product name, several key horticultural benefits are listed: "Long-Lasting Nutrient Supply," "Low Risk of Over-Fertilization," "NPK 19-5-9 in Every Granule," and "Improved Root Development."

The right side of the bag is a deep forest green adorned with delicate, light-green line-art illustrations of leaves and branches. A large, clear, crescent-shaped window on this side reveals the actual fertilizer inside: small, uniform, spherical granules in shades of deep indigo and light blue.

At the bottom of the pouch are icons for "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" and a green checkmark indicating the product is "Ready to Use." The weight is listed as Net Wt. 10 oz (280 g). The overall image conveys a high-quality, specialized maintenance product for bonsai enthusiasts.

A Large Fruiting Lime Tree That Makes an Immediate Impression

This is a big, mature lime tree with a wide canopy, an established trunk and actual fruit growing on the branches. It came to us in a trade, and while I cannot confirm the exact variety of lime, I can tell you that it is healthy, actively growing and currently producing fruit.

At 25 inches tall and 24 inches wide, this is not a little windowsill tree. It has real presence. The trunk rises from the soil with natural movement before dividing into a broad framework of mature branches. There is plenty here for someone who wants to continue refining the canopy, shorten selected growth or simply enjoy it as a large fruiting tropical.

Fruit adds another dimension to bonsai that foliage alone cannot provide. Watching the limes develop and ripen throughout the season makes this tree especially fun to own. It is planted in a substantial blue ceramic pot that suits its size and gives the entire composition a finished look.

This is the exact tree shown in the photographs.

Tropical Care

Lime trees need strong light and warmth. This tree can remain outdoors during warm weather but must be protected from frost and freezing temperatures. In colder climates, plan to overwinter it indoors under strong natural light or quality grow lights.

Local Pickup Preferred

This is a large tree in a substantial ceramic pot, so packing and shipping will be expensive. Local pickup at our Massachusetts nursery is strongly preferred. Shipping is available for buyers who cannot pick it up, but the cost will reflect the size, weight and extra packing required to protect it.

Shipping Confidence

If shipped, this tree will be carefully packed to protect its trunk, branches, soil and ceramic pot. Some leaf and fruit drop should be expected during transit. Ripe or developing fruit may also be removed before shipping if necessary to reduce stress or prevent damage to the branches.

Citrus trees can react to being boxed and moved into a different environment by dropping additional leaves or fruit after arrival. Give the tree strong light, careful watering and time to adjust.

Please Note

All trees are sold as-is. All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges. Once the tree leaves our nursery, its care is your responsibility. Have questions? Just reach out. We’re happy to help.

We ship thousands of bonsai trees and supplies each year, and every order is packed with care by our team. Live trees are watered, secured, and packaged to help them arrive safely and ready for their new home.

Live bonsai trees generally ship early in the week, Monday and Tuesday, to reduce time in transit. Tools, pots, soil, fertilizer, and other non-living items usually ship throughout the week.

Bonsai Outlet is a licensed nursery, not just a warehouse. We follow the proper inspection and certification requirements for shipping live plants across state lines. When a state requires additional documentation, such as a nematode certificate or nursery inspection certificate, we work to ensure the proper requirements are met before shipping.
