One-Of-A-Kind Shimapku Juniper 'itoigawa'
This is a fabulous looking twisted 'Itoigawa' Shimpaku. The tree was styled in November, 2022. It's the trees first styling (it's been wired in the past to twist the trunk) and we snagged this tree to post online.
We Posted Several of these a couple months ago, and they all sold quickly. We hope you'll like these as well.
This tree is slated to be potted into a ceramic pot this spring, unless it sells online. We styled several hundred conifers this winter so they can be repotted this spring. You can see the trunks lines, and branching from the pictures. This tree potted with new foliage grow, in the spring, will look like a million bucks!

"Itoigawa" Juniper Bonsai, is one of the most sought after Juniper in Japan for their unique soft cloud like foliage. The trunks also lend themselves to natural shari. The Itoigawa is native to Japan, the Kurile Islands and the Itoigawa peninsula. Its natural habit is prostrate and it prefers rocky, well-drained soils. In its natural range, it is most often found growing near the sea. The foliage is needle-like on young trees and scale-like on older trees. The fruit is a small, hard, bluish berry.

We are shipping living trees and must be conscious of the temperature conditions to the delivery address, as well as, while in transit.
