The picture you see is from June 22. The tree is identical today. We planned to pot up this tree into a ceramic container, but we missed the mark. The tree needs to be repotted after it flowers. However, since there's already flower buds on the tree, we are re-listing as a pre-bonsai.
The Azalea bonsai is a small, flowering tree that is highly valued for its stunning, brightly colored blooms. It is native to Asia, but is now widely grown in many parts of the world as a popular choice for bonsai cultivation.
The Azalea bonsai is a deciduous or evergreen. It has attractive, oval-shaped leaves that are usually around 1-2 inches in length, and in the spring, it produces a profusion of stunning, brightly colored flowers in shades of pink, red, white, and purple. See picture for color.
To care for an Azalea bonsai, it is important to provide it with well-draining soil and plenty of sunlight. The tree should be watered regularly but not excessively, and fertilized during the growing season. Pruning and wiring can also be used to shape the tree and encourage growth in certain areas.
One of the key features of the Azalea bonsai is its stunning, brightly colored blooms, which can last for several weeks in the spring. The tree can be trained into a variety of bonsai styles, including the formal upright, informal upright, and slanting styles.
This bonsai is 14.5" tall, measured from the table to the top of tree. The spread is 12.5"
It ships in a 9" round plastic pot.
